The Takeuchi TB225A is a ~2.4-ton class mini excavator with a unique hydraulically extendable undercarriage (1100–1500 mm), allowing for a combination of compactness during transport and stability during operation. It is powered by a Yanmar 3TNV82A diesel engine (16.5 kW / 22.5 HP).
Four hydraulic pumps for direct function control, "Servo" control, and automatic "turret" locking ensure smooth and precise operation. Additional equipment includes a hydraulic quick coupler, an emergency shut-off valve with an overload warning system (according to EU EN474-5 standard), and a Powertilt 174° system with a lifting hook.
The comfortable ROPS/TOPS cabin with a radio, LED work lights, and loading/unloading hooks on the cabin roof is designed for convenient use and transport. There are even 8 lashing points for securing during transport.
