DELIVERY POLICY

Effective date: 1 April 2026

This Delivery Policy applies to the online store of UAB “Kurt Koenig”, legal entity code 300090755, registered office address Šiltnamių g. 30, Vilnius, Lithuania, and to orders related to it (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”).

This policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions of Sale and Service, Returns and Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.

1. General Information

When placing an order in our online store, customers are provided with information about the available delivery methods, estimated delivery times, and preliminary or final delivery costs. The exact delivery information may depend on the nature of the product, its dimensions, weight, storage location, delivery address, and selected carrier.

For certain products, especially oversized, heavy, palletised, technical, or non-standard items, the delivery terms may be agreed individually and confirmed after the order is placed or before the order is accepted.

2. Order Processing Time

Unless otherwise stated for a specific product, we normally process orders within 1–3 business days after payment is received or, where applicable, after the order is confirmed.

Orders placed outside business hours, on weekends, or on public holidays are generally processed starting from the next business day.

Order processing time is not the same as delivery time. An order is considered dispatched only when it has been handed over to the carrier, prepared for collection, or when the customer has received a separate confirmation regarding the delivery process.

3. Delivery Methods

Depending on the nature of the order and the delivery location, we may offer one or more of the following delivery methods:

  • courier delivery;
  • delivery through parcel service providers;
  • pallet or freight delivery;
  • collection from one of our locations or another specified place, where this option is available in the specific case.

The available delivery methods for each order are shown during checkout or agreed individually.

4. Delivery Area

We normally deliver within the territory of the Republic of Lithuania. Delivery to other European Union countries or outside the EU may be available only by separate agreement or where such an option is clearly offered in the online store.

For international deliveries, additional shipping, customs, import, VAT, or other charges may apply and must be paid by the customer, unless otherwise required by law or the specific terms of sale.

5. Delivery Times

Delivery times for standard shipments are generally indicative and are shown during checkout, included in the order confirmation, or agreed separately with the customer.

If the product is in stock and does not require special transportation, delivery within Lithuania usually takes place within 1–5 business days after the order has been processed. Delivery times may be longer for oversized, heavy, made-to-order, individually assembled, or supplier-direct products.

All delivery times are estimates unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.

6. Delivery Costs

The delivery price depends on the selected delivery method, shipment size, weight, value, and delivery address.

Where applicable, the delivery cost for standard shipments is shown during checkout before the order is finally confirmed. The delivery cost for oversized, palletised, freight, or non-standard shipments may be calculated individually and provided to the customer before final order confirmation or after the order is placed where a specific logistics solution must be arranged.

Where promotions, free-delivery thresholds, or special delivery conditions apply, they will be displayed in the online store, on the relevant product pages, or during checkout.

7. Order Tracking

Where technically possible, shipment tracking information or other relevant delivery updates are provided to the customer after the order has been dispatched.

If a tracking number is not provided automatically, the customer may contact us by email at info@kurt-koenig.lt.

8. Delays and Force Majeure

Delivery times may be extended due to circumstances reasonably beyond our control, including but not limited to carrier delays, supply chain disruptions, manufacturer delays, customs procedures, traffic restrictions, strikes, extreme weather conditions, cyber incidents, or other force majeure events.

In such cases, we will inform the customer as soon as reasonably possible and, where necessary, provide an updated delivery estimate or another reasonable solution.

9. Receipt of Goods and Transfer of Risk

The customer is required to accept the delivered goods and, where possible, inspect the condition of the packaging, the completeness of the shipment, and any visible damage at the time of receipt.

If the customer is a consumer (B2C), the risk of accidental loss of or damage to the goods passes to the customer when the customer or a third party designated by the customer, other than the carrier, physically receives the goods.

If the customer is a business customer (B2B), unless otherwise agreed in writing, the risk passes when the goods are handed over to the first carrier, the customer, the customer’s representative, or at another agreed transfer point in accordance with our Terms and Conditions of Sale and Service.

10. Incorrect Address, Uncollected Shipments, and Redelivery

The customer is responsible for providing an accurate delivery address, contact details, and any other necessary information.

If a shipment cannot be delivered because of incorrect information, the customer being unreachable, refusal to accept the shipment without legal grounds, failure to collect it from the collection point, or other circumstances attributable to the customer, we may:

  • require payment of redelivery costs;
  • deduct the actual logistics, storage, or return costs incurred;
  • apply other lawful measures in accordance with our terms and applicable law.

11. Damaged, Lost, or Incorrectly Delivered Shipments

If you receive a visibly damaged shipment, we recommend that you:

  • note the damage at the time of delivery, where possible;
  • keep the packaging;
  • immediately take photographs and/or video;
  • contact us as soon as possible at info@kurt-koenig.lt.

If you wish to submit a claim regarding a damaged, incorrectly delivered, or returned product, please provide:

  • the VAT invoice number or order number;
  • photographs;
  • a video showing the damage or issue, where possible;
  • a brief description of the situation;
  • if the product is being returned, additional shipment information and the tracking number.

Providing this information helps us assess the situation more quickly, but it does not limit the customer’s rights where mandatory consumer protection rules apply.

12. Order Changes, Cancellations, and Returns

The possibility of changing or cancelling an order depends on the stage of fulfilment. If the customer wishes to change or cancel an order, they should contact us as soon as possible at info@kurt-koenig.lt.

Returns, the right of withdrawal, cases of non-conforming goods, and the related conditions are governed by our Returns and Cancellation Policy and our Terms and Conditions of Sale and Service.
